Lymphoedema & Lipoedema,
Treated Differently
Most women with lymphoedema or lipoedema are told to manage their symptoms.
I'm here to actually treat them.

Does This Sound Familiar?
-
You've been living with swelling, heaviness, or discomfort for years
-
You've been given compression garments and sent on your way
-
You feel like your body is working against you
-
You've searched for answers but struggled to find someone who truly understands
-
You don't feel like yourself in your own body anymore

What Is Lymphoedema?
Lymphoedema is a chronic condition caused by a compromised lymphatic system, resulting in a build-up of fluid in the tissues. It can affect any part of the body but most commonly the arms or legs.
It may develop after cancer treatment, surgery, infection, or as a primary condition and for many women, it significantly impacts quality of life, mobility, and confidence.

What Is Lipoedema?
Lipoedema is a chronic condition characterised by an abnormal accumulation of fat, typically in the legs, thighs, and buttocks that is disproportionate to the rest of the body and resistant to diet and exercise.
It is frequently misdiagnosed as obesity
or ignored entirely, leaving many women feeling dismissed and without support.
If you've been told your swelling is "just weight" — it may not be.

My Approach
My background in mental health nursing means I understand that living with a chronic condition affects far more than just the body.
The anxiety, the frustration, the feeling of not being heard, I see all of it, and I work with all of it.
Combined with advanced Godoy Method training, I assess and respond to what your body needs in real time. Every session is led by you. Your symptoms, your history, your body.
This is not a routine. This is specialist care.
This isn't standard Lymphatic Drainage
Most lymphatic treatments were not designed for lymphoedema or lipoedema.
The Godoy Method was.
Developed by Professor Godoy, one of the world's leading experts in lymphatic medicine. This is the most advanced, evidence-based technique available for the treatment and management of both conditions. It goes far beyond traditional manual lymphatic drainage, working with precision to stimulate lymphatic flow and support the body at a deeper physiological level.
I am the first and only therapist in the Scotland trained directly under Professor Godoy, bringing this technique to women who need it most.
